.042/.032/.024 strings. 21" scale.I have been using a small bolt for a nut for quite a while. It fits in a groove at the tip of the fret board.With the individual shape of my carved head stocks, I cannot always get the preferred string from the middle winding. Sometimes, It has to go the other way - unless I add string trees or guides of some configuration.
