    Thanks Uncle John.  I have a good method for this, but it is always a surprise for what you're going to get.  There are some nice surprises on this fretboard too.  It is birds eye maple.

    This would be great without the blade.  The blade is just the icing on the cake.   I like the worn paint and paint splotches - a lot.
