Thanks Tom. I haven't found the need for a truss rod. The 5-string necks are a 3-piece laminate with a fretboard glued on top. I have one more than a year old that is not a neck-thru and it is very stable. The neck itself is thicker than traditional so it is well-suited to someone like me who has larger hands, but others haven't had trouble playing them either.
I just don't like glossy, pretty guitars for my own self. Maybe (probably) I think I am not good enough for them. Give me something a bit ratty or salvaged looking.

I love that look! Sweet sounding video too! You put a truss rod in your 5 string necks?
Yes, but you have to be willing to go there to get to the end. :)
Before kind of sucked!
This is the "before" picture all glossy and new.![10313211_506860246084120_8713142055255451672_n.jpg?oh=96d135c3b139e28db184bb20d6a08814&oe=54AD5633&__gda__=1424821131_f70ab5a468db220d0ac48f577bc39fc8](https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/10313211_506860246084120_8713142055255451672_n.jpg?oh=96d135c3b139e28db184bb20d6a08814&oe=54AD5633&__gda__=1424821131_f70ab5a468db220d0ac48f577bc39fc8)
