It’s a very sweet box Uncle. It is Old yet in good shape. Not warped at all. A bit bigger box too. 50 cigar size. It has the date on the back. 1924. It has a thin veneer on the sides, mahogany over poplar. I peeled some up with a clamp caul that glue stuck to the box.

Thanks Daniel. The box had a brown paint over the lid and ends. I sanded with fine paper and low and behold. The words revealed themselves.
