Starting to tru-oil the neck

Wow the neck got real dark with the oil treatment. Almost looks like Ebony. First 2 coats on, 2 more then steel wool rub and more coats.

    Yep BrianQ, another one of my wild ideas...lol. I cut edge slots at the fret above the marker. Then will cut 1/8" brass rods for the slots...20 in all. The rod sets down in the neck so it can be seen both on top and on the side. Thats my idea anyway...lol.
