I had the middle part in my garage for a few years, it almost became scrapwood several times. There's people on youtube that have taken sticks and made guitars out of just the stick. I tried to do the same. If you tried to play it with a slide, it wanted to fall forward because it was way top heavy. I added the wings to combat that problem which worked. The middle piece was custom elm and the sides are poplar. Mgb pickup with 2000 winds as opposed to the 4000. It has some serious magnetic pull. I don't know how to feel about it, I don't necessarily like it but I feel like it captures the spirit of the old homemade instruments. It sounds great too.
