Fretless three string. 19 inch scale with a rod piezo. Started out to be a dulcimer but this build gave me more fits than any other. Think she's going to be a fishing buddy.

Yep, I have builds like this too Steve. Most times I'm better if I just put it down and walk away for a spell, best for me and best for the CBG for sure before my temper kicks in. You did a nice job on this one though, I like the shorter scale.
Hey!! Yeah, was thinking of you. How was your vacation?
Wife's been going through a lot here. Injured her hand (waiting for surgery now) and her moms not doing well. She's been helping out up there the best she can.
I've been holding down the fort, using the early and late hours to make some noise.
Built as many this week than all of last year...2.
Thanks guys. She started out as a dulci. Planned to fret her and outfit with an Elmar flat.
Everything was going good until I botched the headstock. It was just too thin. Had to cut her off and went from a 24ish inch scale to a 20ish. That ended the dulci moment.
Broken drill bits, stripped screw heads and other little things had me cussing more than usual.
Now that she's done, I can't say I'm liking it very much. May have to change strings, drop, or raise to the tuning but for now it's sitting in the back row.
Started another today. Taking it back to the beginning. Eye Bolt and all.

Been out of touch lately ... I'm building a 4 string bed warmer and a 6 string lap steel here.
