Had to come back and take another look. I finally found my picture of me playing this beauty in my high school garage band 1966. I took the neck off mine and there were Japanese playing cards for shims. And I still can't find even a mention of this fine guitar anywhere else on the web.
@ pick .... Can't have it !! But do you have a tail piece and bridge you could give me ? ha!ha! Hey , Curt . Glad I could share this picture with you . Thanks for the info. !! I picked this up at a church rummage sale for about a year ago for around 20 bucks !! The electronics are all good !
I have searched for years for even a mention of this guitar on the internet and in vintage guitar books. I played one in the 60s and it was my first electric guitar.
I have never even found mention anywhere that the Savoy ever existed until I saw your photos.

Still a beauty! It so takes me back to playing dances in the 60s with my band.
Joel, I am looking back at some of your photos that I missed before. I like it almost as much as Pick and Curt. A lot of vintage mojo.
