The wood from the heal of the neck through the body is a 2 3/8 by 1 1/8 piece of 80 year old door. The rest, including the top is plywood. The neck is from Guitar Fetish. And it's solid. With only three strings I had to use the truss rod to create a back bow. You can see how the internal structure is on page 60 of the "What's on your Workbench" thread.

I am SO looking forward to playing at Kimmswick! This guitar is tuned to B F# B. The Glider will be in the standard open G.
Instead of adding weight to the body I'll be tying the strap to the headstock.

Frankenstein, what kind of bracing you do for the neck? Aftermarket or is that your neck? Looks like a bruiser
