Leather covered box. I went back to grommets for this one... I thought F holes would be difficult to make with decent edges. I like how this drawer handle looks with this box. It is somewhat quiet acoustically, but has a great plugged in sound.I use only hand tools for the shaping of the neck and head stock. The Purpleheart fret board looks great - but it is difficult to cut for the frets - 24 pulls Each. I count so that they are the same depth.Gitty's Medium Frets and Shane Tuners.
