Gene the string runs over the hinge on top. I am in the process of putting an omnidirectional microphone on it as well.

extraordinary instrument brother looks dangerous and safe at the same time.bet the sound it will produce will be otherworldly. sure like to hear a sound sample from this ride!!!!!
