Roadrunner travel guitar neck detail

There was a scar at the bottom of the neck from recessing the hinge to allow the neck to fold flat against the body for travel. Burned in a flame motif with a soldering iron (for all the hot licks).

  • Thanks, Robert! You are right; that bottom string is the A string from a bass guitar, tuned down to G, and the others are the A, D, and G strings from a guitar, tuned to G-D-G.   • Really ingenious adaptation and a really nice build.! What strings are you using? One looks like might be a bass guitar string.
