just got the Diddley Reso (Resbow) strung up it sounds great and louder than i expected - well pleased with it - just need to make the pickup for it today - as soon as i have electrified it i'll post a sound demo both acoustic and electricBTW this Bow is gonna be for sale once finished so give me a shout if your intrested :)

Yes Mark the holes were added after spinning - would not be possible to spin it with the holes drilled first it would distort and buckle and a chance of the forming tool going through the hole could cause injury
Thanks UJ & Wes most kind of you both - just wound the pickup :) need to solder the hook-up wires on and get the pickup mounted under the coverplate with the magnet/Pole sticking through the front hole in the coverplate

Thanks Mark - the reso coverplate is made from a Chocolate/candy tin Lid - spun it on the lathe :)
