This is my pickup winding contraption, I put together with ideas I found around the net. The winder itself is an old hand-crank grinder I inherited, but instead of a grinder wheel, there's a 1/2"-thick masonite disk. The pickup bobbin is held onto the disk with double-sided foam tape. The structure in front is a guide for the wire as it winds onto the bobbin. This is the third pickup I've made.
