  • Thanks Robert J . most kind of you , yes i'm a jack of all trades master of none lol!! - i think it should take between 30-40 mins to do a pickup wind with 8-10,000 winds and potting as i go - i'll be trying my first pickup wind on it later today ...

  • Hi Skeesix , thanks very much , been after finishing it for ages now , i used to wind pickups on my modlers lathe (worked ok ) but it was not ideal plus it stopped me using the lathe while setup for pickup winding - i looked at the stewmac winders they look good and no doubt are good but the price put me off so i made one lol!!
