I used to use double sided tape to install these on a shiny surface, but the magnet would pull them loose over time. I should be using a mechanical fastener , but I used what was laying around. A even coat of Titebond glue, with string pressure and a sock for a clamp. 45 minutes later it is indeed a Tight bond ;^)
