Padron Venison

Padron Venison CBG. Fretted 24 5/8" scale, cherry neck/heel and bridge, Deer leg bone saddle, antique sqaure nail nut, walnut fret dots, bass pup pickup. I'm not a fan of taking pics inside but the weather here in Nebraska has been awful and it's getting worse everyday. These were takin' out at my cabin on the river, this back room is what my son in law Brian calls the "whittlin' and spittin' room". He's from Tennessee originally and he said all the old boys up in the hills had one room in their cabins with a wood burner where they could sit around and whittle and spit, this is that room.

  • Thanks Bob! The one hangin' on the wall is a throwing hatchet, there is another one hanging to the left of this one also. I got them at a Mountain Man Rondezvous at Fort Atchinson in the town of Fort Calhoun a few years back, Blacksmith made them right on site. I have quite a collection of old axes, hatchets and knives, ya never know when Paul Bunyon might pay a visit :-)
