  This is my second build. The first one is the one with the f holes. That one tied for first place in last years concert.

  If you take a look you'll see  that I had also built a case for it. The case was as involved as the guitar.

  I wanted to build a resonator, but didn't have the energy to build another case, so I had to make this one fit in that case as well. 

  It was quite a challenge, but I resolved it buy using a piece of something that I found at my local 99 cent store

  which served as a shallow cone. I installed a lipstick pick up which when combined with the cone gave it a unique sound.

  I went through a lot of tricky business figuring all this stuff out, but was lucky.

  I like plain and rustic builds for myself.   But this beauty?   I could play this one.
