First time using Hawaiian Koa on the neck. I don’t like how it works under the spoke shave or the files, but it is a pretty wood when it is finished. Padauk Fretboard, Wine Barrel Bridge, and Cedar tone wood for the soundboard. I am also doing a French polish on the cedar. Back is Alaska Yellow Cedar. Wine box is an old nailed together Robert Mondavi wine box. Similar to the last build on the Droughin Estate wine box, so I expect the sound to be deep and beautiful.

What kind of wood, is the bracing made from? Can any type be used, including pine?
