just finished no.3, maple neck, oak fretboard, nails for fretboard markers. action could be lower but frets are not even enough...some buzzes...next one will be better

I like the idea of using nails for the frets. I tried it & it worked good. I used a coarse whet stone at a 45 degree angle over the frets & they leveled off fairly well. I hope this helps. By the way, that slide cutter is on the mark!
