    It also pulls up on the box, not pressing down on it. So it changes the tone alittle. Thanks for the generous comments guys.

    The bridge is not flat.. it has a slight angle on it. There are small groves in the bridge where the strings go. And the zerks are pretty dead on to where the strings go, but dont have to be perfect as long as you have the groves in the bridge. If your zerks dont line up with your string spacing you can always loosen or tighten the zerk one way or another to get it to line up better. I like the zerks and will use them alot more in the future.

    nice idea(s). Is the bridge flat? Is the string spacing managed solely by the zerks?
