These are my first 2 builds. The first was my 2 with a poplar through body neck. It has a bottle cap potted piezo pickup, brass corner protectors, and 5/16th bolts for the nut and bridge, with enclosed tuners, from my old Rogue acoustic that has been collecting dust, since I got it. It's tuned G D, and strung for a lefty. Yeah, I'm a southpaw. My second build was my "coup stick" diddley bow, made from a Truper double bit ax handle, and an altoids tin to house the wiring harness that I soldered myself. It has a deer antler nut, cedar saddle with an antler bridge, 500 ohm volume pot, P-90 pickup, enclosed tuner head, and small brass tacks for the fret markers. It currently has a chicken head volume knob, but it's soon to be replaced with a piece of deer antler, as well. The black strip on the tail, is a "ranger band" to keep control of my cord.
