All the scraps are coming from edging from Woodruff Timber here in Duluth. They put them out for us scroungers. They sell exotic wood as well as local wood. It's been a great resource. They also sell "buck boards". Like the dollar store of luthier wood. Gotta love it...

Thanks, my spouse thinks they look like petit fours (sp?). I'm liking the second generation ones using scraps from the 3 piece ones to make the double layers.
