Can anyone tell me what kind of wood this is? I got a carved food bowl years ago just to use for bridges and such because it was dark. I have not had luck finding a picture of this wood showing the grain and such. Thanks for looking.

thanks for the input UJ and SD. I always have wondered. I use it for nuts or bridges and fret dots would be good too.
