Blind Hogs Guitar's latest build. I am a fan of the old steel resonator guitars by "National" and have wanted do a build with that kind of style. So here is my version. It is made from a hollow core door, with a coffee can bottom for a resonator. It features chrome tuners and frets and piezo pickup. This is also our first guitar to feature the Blind Hog logo burned into the headstock. I gave it a test run this afternoon and didn't put it down for for two hours. It sounds great. I will eventually sell it but am going to keep it for a while, I like it that much.

Kool, I love Nationals, have a few of my own. Not a lot of people know they manufactured the parts for Regal? every once in awhile, somebody will bring in a historic brass or steel body that needs some soldering, cheers :)

The top and back are the wood skin from a hollow core door. The sides are red oak. The whole thing is painted with a silver, chrome paint.
Looks Great! I would love to hear it. Is it a Formica top on the body?
;)
Yes, I have found some acorns, but the old sow won't let me talk about it.
Great build, really like the neck it stands out ;-)
I like it too. And I like your new logo. Have you found any acorns?
The poor man’s “faux steel” resonator! Genius Ron. I love it!
