I really like the sound of those Las Cabrillas boxes. They make for really nice CBG's.
I've got a nice stash of RCA gray glass and black plate 6V6's around here somewhere and planing to replace those along with the 12AX7's at some point in my Excelsior also. I also went a little crazy and purchased the upgrade Eminence 15" that some are using but haven't installed it yet. Right now, I'm just enjoying it as is and as is is pretty good!
Thanks, Ron! I really like my Excelsior. I bought better tubes, which made a nice difference (and a pair of cream colored chicken head knobs!) I'm really happy with it, especially for the price!

Say, how are you liking your Excelsior? I picked one up a while back and have been enjoying it quite a bit. Are you thinking about doing any of the mods folks are doing with these?

Yup, clean. No one thing stands out to my eye, but the whole is just real fine.
