Supro pickup and control plate

Powerful mellow to a scream pickup. Carving the control pocket was a challenge. Daniel added these cool knobs. The tone capacitor is huge and very effective.

Comment by Dave Lynas on March 20, 2019 at 8:41am: You had a complex pocket in the cigar box Daniel. I wish I could have saved that part but it wouldn’t have worked in this application. Ambrose, the outer body shape came from a tracing of a Regal lap steel relic that I refurbished several years ago. I made two body’s from a plank of Mahogany back then but never finished this one till now. I find great planks of wood from Woodruff Timber here in Duluth. It’s a very old timber mill with a wonderful tool shop and ancient stock.
