Lap Slide

Still really rough. Maple and glazed cearmic. Only thing I'm worried about in the test run is the weight. It's VERY light. Sounds good, but just feels a little too light.

    I would assume you'd be looking for a very snug fit with the lead weights.  Otherwise you might get some sort of rattle that will transmit to the strings.

    Yeah there`s some hefty fishin weights to try, if it doesn`t fit in the hole lead is soft enough to take some off the side and fit it in.

    Thanks for the tip. Something like that crossed my mind, but it never occurred to me to use fishing weights lol.

    try drilling a hole in the end and filling it with lead fishing weights to heavy it up. Just plug up the hole when you get a weight your comfortable with.
