3 string fretless. Oak neck, brass machine screw nut, burned fret markers, wine box body with 1/4" plywood top (box was cut down to 1-1/2" depth, keyhole plate sound hole cover, antique key bridge, strike plate tail piece, dual-piezos. 25-1/2" scale

    Thanks Maddog! I've had this half-sheet of 1/4" ply sitting around for a while and like you said, the grain pattern is pretty nice, it works really well on these wine box bodies and looks great stained

    I like the combo of the plate and the key! Like UJ said, the wood grain is really nice!

    Thanks Richey and Unc! I met a guy a few years ago who owns a salvage business specialising in old door and drawer hardware, needless to say, I've got quite a bit of this "junk" . . .

    Ohhhh!    The escutcheon plate!   Man I was admiring the wood grain and color and thinking it reminded me of some of Maddog's that I have got to hold, play and enjoy.   Then that escutcheon plate popped into view.  

    I LOVE this one.
