I toured an inlaid woodworking shop in Sorrento, Italy last year. I asked the owner if I could buy some of his inlaid wood edge banding to build a CBG with. He said the edge banding wasn't for sale as they imported it from New York City. However before I left the shop he gave me a cardboard envelope. Inside was this inlaid wood picture that he had made in 1994. It had some minor damage that I was able to repair.
All of the hardware, except for the pre-amp was supplied by CB Gitty Crafter Supply. My good friend, Ed Rohner, at Fretter Guitars applied the 13 coats of catalytic lacquer to produce the best finish job I have ever seen.
