We built and played some cigar box guitars last night. Teri and Jeanne finished my class at the church on the spiritual disciplines and I gave them the option to add a class session and build a CBG. As you can see they took me up on my offer. I liked their creative choice of sound holes and inserts. Flower power!!!

Thanks for weighing in Glenn! I really enjoy leading the Spiritual Disciplines class. It's always debatable who learns more, the students or the teacher. This is the first time I added a song to the start of the lessons and it was well recieved. It naturally spurred interest in playing and thus building a CBG.

Thanks BrianQ! I primed the pump for the interest for the build by bringing my cigar box guitar to all our sessions and doing a song related to our lesson together before we started. I try to take advantage of opportunities wherever I can to expose others to the joy of making music with CBGs. Planting seeds!
