20" Scale Length tuned DAdd, piezo pickup, Alder neck, Mahogany fretboard, 3D printed fretboard bridge, and tailpiece. My first build of this style. A commission! I was surprised by how good it sounds plugged in.

Good question Brandon! Clearly PLA plastic frets are going to wear faster than metal ones. How long they last depends a lot on playing style and how much you play too. I have gotten good wear on my license plate Chugger with metal strings. The plastic frets hold up best with fishing line strings which are my normal go to for the Chugger CBGs I play.
A refret, when it's time, is as easy as peeling up the fret board, removing the double stick tape glue residue, and putting down a new fretboard. For those with a 3D printer the amount of materials consumed is small, so it is inexpensive from a materials cost standpoint to just print another one.
Not having to do all the work to do a complete, traditional fret job (and I've done my share) has been a real plus.

Note: I have also printed and attached 3D printed individual frets which would allow replacing individual frets. I moved off off that approach because it was a lot more work to do. The plus was being able to see the wood of the fretboard/neck.

I appreciate the kind words Kale! I admit, I really enjoy designing and printing 3D parts more than doing wood work. And have been delighted to send fretboards to others who want to incorporate them into a build (fretting for the lazy builder).
