Thanks ! First guitar here, but I dabble in woodworking and the scarf joint looked cool to do.
For the strings, I kept breaking my mandolin strings and I "had" to have something to play with so I cannibalized my Elixir from my fold guitar. I ordered more "basic" guitar string for my next build
For the stores, I need to find one that have a warehouse or else in Europe: sadly EU decided to again increase taxes from US shipment it's not very accessible when you.
Nice scarf joint on the neck to headstock joint. Are you new at this? That is kind of advanced. Nice heel. Looks like an assortment of strings. I think Elixers are great, but too pricey for CBGs.
You can buy string here from Gitty or Speal. You can go to the competitor, MGB. I get my strings on line from musicians friend. A brand called Musicians Gear for about $3.00 a set of 6. It's just opinion, but lots of us prefer to use electric strings Especially if you are going to use a slide.
Musicians Friend is a nice company. Free shipping.
