  • Thanks David. It was a fun one to make. Scored the box at York Festival. Many of the older boxes have paper/MDF lids so they have a sound all their own. Not sure how to describe it in musical terms but it's kind of mellow and down low without that edge to it. Thanks again.

  • Cool.   Thanks, Allan.  I really do like this one.   Sometimes I have to put them aside until the mood strikes me, but I do like making those small improvements to looks and playing.

  • Thanks Uncle John. The corner pieces kind of help hold it all together. :) They need to be dulled down some as well as the tail piece. The string are staying in place pretty well after the slots were deepened some more.
  • That looks great here.   And the tailpiece color looks all right.  That is about a number 9 guitar and I grade hard.
