Worked for Engleder in Munich, subsequently in Augsburg. Son-in-law and (from 1842) successor of F. Krenn, a guitar maker in Munich. Appointed luthier to the court. Retired 1875. Chiefly occupied with plucked instruments, but his repair label is found in a viol at the Bach Museum, Eisenach. His son, also Georg, followed him as a guitar maker, established in Mittenwald. Georg. it hasnt got v struts so they got that bit wrong!
That's a lovely old instrument. Do you want me to cut a couple of humbuckers into it - make it more versatile ?
