Homemade Upright Bass

I just finished making this bass. The neck and bridge are maple, with poplar for the tailpiece and nut. The body is made of plywood and pine from around the house. The tailpiece is a treaded rod. The tuners were cheap bass tuners that I modded to fit the upright bass strings. The strings are weedwacker standard strings. It's a little over six feet tall, and it took about a month of building and planning.
