Philip, she sounds great. I love the steamer tails. They are very versatile. Work for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 strings. One screw holds them on. This fiddle is bright and loud. I don’t play fiddle well yet but she’ll show me how.

Love the front cover and the steamer tailpiece, I am building my next cbg and I think I will search out something similar, how does she sound?
Yup Uncle most all fiddle, Viola and Cello strings come Ball end. The standard so they will fit in the slotted hole in a fiddle type tail piece.
I do love my new Ho, Ho. She seems bright and lively. Like Edith Buncker’s voice.
Beautiful colors and photo. Nice fiddle. Just a great vintage look.
Dave, I did not know you could find viola strings with a ball end. Maybe I need to look for those.
Sound job! Love the look of this!
She’s a Purdy Howler. It will be a while learning to charm her.
Great lookin' little Vio Dave!
