Headless Travel Bass 1

Build using a 25.5" scale headless neck and tailpiece tuners. The body, bridge and headpiece were hand built.

    Good idea.  I think tuners like that would be great on a lot of home mades.  Not just bases.

    I bought the tailpiece tuners from a buddy over on TalkBass that designed them and commisioned a prototype run.  Originally they were tuned with an allen key.  Since taking this photo, I took some thumbscrews and epoxied wooden dowels to their ends so it can be tuned by hand now.
