Yes!, I think I'd be keeping that one around for a while!, I like the placement of the Pup & Bridge so as to maintain the integrity of the numbering on the Plate, Well Done!! :-)
Uncle John -- She sounds better than I expected. The plate is very rigid. But the action is way high. It's a slider. The PUP sticks up high, I was afraid notching it deeper would compromise the neck. In retrospect I should have notched it more and just added neck reinforcement.
'46 was also Iowa's 100th anniversary of statehood. Hope the customer likes it, but if not I will be happy to keep it around for a while.
