You guys. Don’t forget the slide masters Master, Randy Brets. He ‘S King of the Heap! I have a bone slide of his that I love. I like making my slides. I throw them on the potter’s Wheel. And illustrate them with overglaze paintings. I’ve slowed my production as I have made hundreds. They have led to my guitar dog drawings and paintings.
Thanks Jeff, and I'm deffo going to ask Dave and see if it can be done.....I have a few really nice hand made ceramic slides already, but Dave's are truly something very special. As you say they all have their own voice and that's why it's fun experimenting with different ones, so keep on adding them to your collection Poorness.....it's the only excuse you need! Actually, since adding that pic of my collection below, I realised that I've added five more since taking it.......eeekk!! Still room for more though....always! One of them I made myself ages ago...I'll post some pics.
That’s a nice box Brian well crafted indeed , I’m sure Dave will help you out he’s made so many for Nation members , I have gifted 2 of mine to very close friends which I’ve built for they love them not sure what it is but each one has it’s own voice to cry out you can’t go wrong with a little Lynas Mojo in your life . Dave gave me that tin so what better place to make a slide keep .
Yep......me too! I made a box for mine, and there's room for a few more yet!!
Hey Jeff, I really like your box and collection of beautiful Lynas slides, complete with wonderful drawing by Dave......which reminds me......Unc mentioned Dave's lovely ceramic slides to me a long time ago and seeing your beauties just makes me want one so bad.....I will have to ask him very very nicely and see if we can work something out......I NEED some of that special Lynas mojo in my world....!!
