    the kids brought back a stick from the river, the dog has been chewing on it for a week or two- gourd instrument neck

    the gourd was lying in an old soda crate on my back porch for the last year and a half- body of said freak thing


    i found a piece of a corn cob pipe i had cut down- the bridge


    got out my knife, and started whittling.


    put a string on it- amazing thing is ...it stays in tune with itself
