Circa 1870's fiddle. Replaced the neck with one of my own to make it a 24.5" scale. Cherry neck stained to match the body with an ebonized cherry fingerboard. Used the scroll from the fiddle headstock to retain the fiddle look. The nut is a piece of ebony from the tail of the fiddle. Piezo disc mounted between the soundpost and soundboard. Original fiddle bridge worked down to the needed string height. Moved the chin rest around to the side to become an arm rest. Built and tuned (GDAE) to the customers specs, personally, I would shorten the fingerboard by about 2" and add mandolin frets, tuned GDGB or something similar. Hopefully I will find time soon to make a demo video, but between working 90 hrs/wk at my job and tending to family needs, its all I can do to find time to build and sleep.

Yep, it's a beauty and it plugs in. What is the rest of the story?
