oak neck, walnut fret board fretted from cbgitty i added inlays of guitar pick paper punch, oak nut and bridge with brass rod and rod piezo with pre amp and i cut the piezo down to fit, sealed tuners, bass corners , brass hinge for the strings, gold sound holes, tuned gdg

  • thanks uncle john, my last build did that a little so itried to put the strings in some this time, the angle that the frets are filed is a little steaper this time so it play better, but you have bend the high string up and the low string down or the will pop off, but i dont want them to far in so i can slide on one string at a time like shane speal, or john mcnair does, how far do you put youre strings in? my neck is just shy of 1 inch and a half

  • All looks good, but the fret board shines. 

    Sometimes if your strings are too far outboard they will kind of pop off the frets when you fret them. My fave git does that a bit.
