My contribution to "How low can you go..?" A super flat humbucker, 8mm high / 0.32".The iron core consists of 2 tin can sheets which are bent at the end to limit the coils. An acrylic plate in the middle centers the magnets. A first test is successful - it sounds good!

  • a first test is successful! I tried parallel and serial (humbucker)-wiring. I think the serial humbucker wiring is better, as both coils are underwound.
