First CBG build

My first attempt at building a CBG. I finished it today, can't play it yet but it sounds ok with the noise I've made so far.

    I looked at a lot of pics before I started the build. I kinda borrowed from a half dozen other guitars that I saw online, picking little bits and ideas of each to combine into it. I really wanted an aged or weathered look. Something that looks more like it was found abandoned, not recently made.

  • Thanks, all! It was a lot of fun to put together. I kinda went for an "aged" look. It sounds nice, much better tone than I was expecting, but I might have to raise the bridge and nut slightly. I've got the action a little low for slide.
