First (2 string) bass

Made from an 'Our Chief' 5c Cigar box. Can't remember whether it came from Father-in-Law's workshop or an Iowa junk emporium! Inlayed ebony in mahogany neck/headstock. Pearl fret markers. 80 and 45 gauge strings tuned to GD.

  • Nah! But everything is fixed to the underside of the lid. I've got the wiring diagram I used though. Can't seem to get Milva to put it down for long enough to do anything else! Next time it has the strings off though ...
