Thanks guys. I still look for old thin solid wood to recycle for soundboards, like this one. However, I got some .25-inch birch ply to try next.

Thanks Dave, it does sound good. It was a pleasure to build an instrument for a guitarist who really liked it and enjoyed playing it well.
This is the same build as my first CBG, with a few new tricks (for me) added. Also, fretboard overlay is a piece of 3/16 Brazilian mahogany that I've had for years.
My second CBG, made for Erin, a musician friend. Top is clear pine or spruce or something from an old drawer bottom. Sounds good.
