This is the two basic Victorian fireplace uprights that one of which became the Lap Steel backing support. They were originally covered in cobwebs and detritus. The lump of Ash at the back is a Mouthbow in the making. It is finished all bar the fact that it is not really loud enough in the playing. I fully intend to apply a pickup of some devious design...!!
