  Each coat in turn was rubbed down with 800 grade wet and dry to even out the roughs, last thick coat will give a nice smooth shine but need longer drying times on hardwood.

  Using Medium Oak varnish to give it an aged look, will end up with a couple of coats of clear gloss to give it a nice shine.
