Thanks AGP. It comes from a rustic rube. I have always tried to make my artwork look old. With relic CBGs I get to work with the real thing. I can’t resist them
The box had a badly cupped lid. I cracked a similar top by trying to flatten it. This flipped lid idea works great. I arched my blocks to fit the bow so it would have bracing to help hold the arch. My bridge spans the lid so it rest out on the edges but still presses on the top. The bridge fits the curve also. I put a sheet of sandpaper on the lid and rubbed my bridge back and forth till it fit the curve.

I'm with Maddog, Rustic Rusticness at its best! :-)
Thanks Wes, thanks Maddog. Dan Erliwine gave me the archtop bridge sanding idea. They fit perfect.
